Exams Required for Admission

• Graduate Record Examination Registration. The general examination is required for all applicants to DEES.

• TOEFL. Test of English as a Foreign language. Required for all International applicants.

• International Testing Center List for GRE and TOEFL.

Columbia Apartment Housing. As a new phD student in DEES you will be offered a place in Columbia Apartment Housing. It is highly recommended that International students accept Columbia Apartment Housing when they first arrive. It can be very difficult to find and acquire an apartment when you first arrive in the US because you will not have an address, phone number, bank account, social security number etc.
